THE_SINGULARITY_OF_A_PALEONTOLOGICAL_DISCOVERY_AND_THE_PLATONIC_DODECAHEDRON

On Sunday, June 16, 2024, Prof. Mark Menamin, geologist and paleontologist from the Department of Geology at Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Ma., presented to the Schiller Institute’s online seminar a fascinating connection between paleontology and the Platonic Solids, which appeared to me to be a crucial singularity between life and non-life, during the Proterozoic period of our Earth’s geological evolution, and which he identified as “THE NOT-SO-BORING BILLION: RODINA AND THE ORIGIN OF ANIMALS.

Professor Menamin showed that in a timeline between 1.8 and 0.8 billion years ago, during the Proterozoic era, there appeared to be not much going on just before the origin of animals on Earth. Well, surprise, surprise! The hexagonal pattern of Figure 2 which he presented to his audience is “thought to be made by an ancient animal that is still alive today, but nobody knows what that animal is.” 

My hypothesis is that this is an ancestor of the “dodecahedron,” which reflects the spherical ordering of the twelve well-tempered musical tones system including the six Lydian human voices register shifts.

WHAT_GOES_INTO_A_DISCOVERY_OF_PRINCIPLE

In a March 1976 report addressed to the International Caucus of Labor Committees (ICLC), titled Heuristic Applications of the Higher Theory of Manifolds To The Current Strategical and Subsumed Tactical Situation, Lyndon LaRouche developed his conception of multiply-connected manifolds for the benefit of the members of his international organization.

What is LaRouche talking about here? The question is: Are you a frightened follower or are you a courageous thinker who is capable of causing an axiomatic transformation of your mind in order to improve the development of the world?  This is the question that Lyndon LaRouche asked the members of the International Caucus of Labor Committees, 48 years ago.

In the conclusion of the present report, I have included a hypothesis regarding what Lyndon LaRouche had been investigating as the projection of a geometrical distribution of prime numbers, which he had identified at the end of an article originally published 43 years ago and which was republished in his honor last week in EIR under the title: The Function of Teaching of Grammar as a Crucial Element of Military Policy (larouchepub.com).

LaRouche’s subject matter may appear to deal with numbers and grammatical considerations, and it might even have some meaningful mathematical significance; but, that is not what the subject matter is about. The subject matter concerns “singularities of real processes” (p. 42.) in which the ordering of numbers represents a “geometrically-determined” moment of pre-established reciprocity in temporal-eternity similar to what is required for understanding the axiom busting significance of the universal value of the 1648 Peace of Westphalia.

In honor of this week’s fiftieth anniversary of EIR publication and of the republication of Lyndon LaRouche’s August 18, 1981 article, The Function of Teaching of Grammar as a Crucial Element of Military Policy (larouchepub.com),I would like to submit anew hypothesis regarding what Lyn was investigating with the projection of a geometrical distribution of prime numbers that he identified in the conclusion of his report. This hypothesis is also published in honor of Leibniz’s original contribution to an appropriate use of numbers expressing his principle of pre-established harmony for human thinking.
