In his book, Project A, Lyndon LaRouche treated the question of the One and the Many in a fashion very similar to Plato’s treatment of that same subject in the Republic and in the Parmenides. LaRouche demonstrated that a fundamental characteristic of the sovereign creative human mind, which is contrary to all animals, is capable of having a direct relationship to the universe as a whole, through an idea which is capable of changing the whole of human history, past, present, and future, and thus, change the universe as a whole.
