WHEN YOU COME TO A FORK IN THE ROAD…

Just a thought,

When you want to accomplish something good for mankind, do you do it out of duty or out of knowledge of what’s right? That’s the crucial question that should be posed to every American citizen during the current Presidential Campaign. Are you working from the power of ideas or from the power of guilt?

The British have devised a Kantian method of intervening in people which is to control them by pushing their guilt button or their self-interest button. That is the H. D. Wells and the Bertrand Russell method, which British Intelligence became the masters of in the early part of the Twentieth Century, and have been bullying the rest of the world with, ever since.

In other words, the British find in someone some flaw that they think can shame him and they push that button to get him to act. Such a British subject will tend to respond accordingly, that is, in accordance with public perception and, therefore, will do what they ask of him to do out of fear of being put to shame. That method is effective up to a limit where the subject either submits or discovers the flaw in the method.

When you come to that fork in the road, you have a choice; either you accept that British method as being the natural condition of man or you go beyond that apparent limitation because you have discovered that the only way to develop another human being is to have him act from the discovery of a higher knowledge of truth.

What you must do, then, is to seek out the morally fit people you wish to recruit to this new and higher idea with carefully chosen paradoxes and shock their popular accepted axioms. Use something like the very effective axiom busting sign we used to deploy at the Los Angeles Airport, during the 1970’s, and which stated:

“JANE FONDA SPREADS FASTER THAN NUCLEAR WASTE.”

The effect of such an axiom busting statement had the double benefit of keeping the environmentalists away from your literature table and of inviting over the morally thinking people; that is, at least those who had a sense of humor and still believed in scientific progress. Those are the people you want to recruit.
